Charlottesville City Schools is soliciting qualified service providers to provide Cisco or equivalent switches and hardware for its technology infrastructure. The required equipment includes 20 Cisco 9300 Model C9300-48U-E switches or equivalent, 20 Cisco C9300-NM-8X uplink modules or equivalent, 40 power supplies (2 per switch) or equivalent, and 40 single mode 10GB SFPs (standard long range) or equivalent. The proposal must comply with E-Rate regulations. Installation and configuration of all services must be completed on or before July 31, 2026, ensuring internet services are operational when staff and students return in August 2026. Proposals must be clear, concise, complete, well-organized, and demonstrate qualifications and ability to follow instructions. The cost proposal must include a full description of expected expenditures, all fees, and ongoing costs. Non-responsive proposals will not be considered. Proposals should be submitted as a signed digital version on a USB flash key or via email. All requirements must be addressed in the proposal. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal or cancel the RFP in part or in its entirety.
