Renovation of a parking garage in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Provide design-build services to develop and furnish the design and construction for emergency repairs to the east and west parking garages at the Lake Nona campus. Work includes addressing critical structural supporting elements and life safety concerns identified in recent structural assessments. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and design-build services necessary for the design and construction of the repairs. Materials shall meet hospital-grade standards as designated in the Department of Veterans Affairs Technical Information Library (TIL) and/or industry standards for healthcare facilities relevant to space usage. The period of performance is 448 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Location: Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $5,000,000 and $6,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
