The project consists of the completed construction of the 2026 Seal Coat Project #P347A for the City of Williston, North Dakota, including approximately 52,699 square yards of aggregate single chip seal coat and approximately 31,965 square yards of aggregate double chip seal coat. Work must be completed by August 8, 2026. All bidders are required to view the proposed project site area to familiarize themselves with the details before submitting a bid. Each bid must be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Finance Director. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized in the state, conditioned that if the bid is accepted and the contract awarded, the bidder will, within 10 days after Notice of Award, execute a contract and provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The bid bond and contractor's license renewal certificate must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope attached to the outside of the bid envelope. Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid. Each bid must be marked on the outside with the date of the proposal, the name of the bidder, and acknowledgment of any addenda received. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, and hold bids for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of opening of bids.
