Description

Site work for a transportation facility in Wytheville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

Wythe County, Virginia, is seeking Bids for maintenance repairs to the Progress Park railroad spur line. The work consists of: * Remove and Replace 15 crossties (Ties to be replaced are marked with blue paint, at the Amcor Switch near the intersection of Gator Lane and Kents Lane) * Remove and Replace 15 "switch" crossties (Main Line at Amcor Switch). * Gage rail at new ties to 56.5". * Re-install tie plates * Furnish and install new spikes * Power tamp all new crossties * Dress stone to the top of the crosstie * Haul crossties to Wythe Count, Rural Retreat Lake Campground. * Provide NS certificate of inspection and approval. The work to be performed includes all labor, material, and equipment to complete the project. Wythe County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids.
