The project consists of asphalt mill and overlay, curb and gutter replacements, concrete flatwork replacements, and miscellaneous construction items. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety. The surety must be licensed to do business in North Dakota and as a certified surety in the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Circular 570. Each bidder must possess a valid North Dakota contractor's license for the full amount of their bid, and enclose a copy of their Contractor's License or Certificate of Renewal, issued by the North Dakota Secretary of State, valid at least ten days prior to the bid opening. No bid will be read or considered if it does not fully comply with these requirements. The City of West Fargo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
