Separate sealed bids are requested for a range of construction work packages for the South Elementary School Addition & Remodeling Project, including: Concrete (Building and Precast Hollow Core Plank), Masonry, Structural Steel (Material and Erection), General Work and Labor, Millwork (Material), Moisture Protection, Liquid Applied Weather Barriers, Sprayfoam Insulation, Prefinished Metal Panels, Sealants, Doors/Hardware/Frames, Overhead and Coiling Doors, Glazing Systems, Drywall, Tilework, Acoustical, Resilient Flooring/Carpeting, Painting, Concrete Floor Finishes, Lockers, Food Equipment, Bleachers, Building Sprinkler System, Plumbing, HVAC and Temp Controls, Electrical Systems, Earthwork, Building Demolition, Paving and Surfacing, Site Fencing, Landscaping, Site Irrigation, and Site Utilities. Bids must be submitted by mail or in-person on the provided bid form, with two sealed envelopes: one containing the bid bond and contractor license, and the other containing the bid form. If mailed, both sealed envelopes must be enclosed in an additional envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond equal to 5% of the bid amount, and bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids. Bids not complying with these provisions will be returned. Bidders may examine the contract documents at designated builder exchanges and offices, and obtain copies for a fee, refundable if documents are returned in good condition within 15 days after bid opening. The Construction Manager reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid for 30 days after opening.
