Site work for a water / sewer project in Marceline, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are being accepted for the Vertical Turbine Pump Replacement Project. The City of Marceline reserves the right to reject any or all bids, request additional information from bidders, and waive technicalities or informalities when it is in the City's best interest. The bid selected will be from the bidder who, in the opinion of the Council, best meets the needs of the city. Women/Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. Proposal specifications can be accessed online or by contacting the Water Superintendent. To inspect the facility or for questions, contact the Water Superintendent during normal Water Department hours. The deadline for questions regarding the project is specified. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with the project name and delivered to the specified city address. For additional information or questions, bidders are directed to contact the Water Superintendent. The City of Marceline is requesting proposals for the replacement of a vertical turbine pump at the Water Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes removing all the current pump located in the basement of the Water Treatment Plant, disposal of removed material and replaced with a vertical turbine pump. It is expected that the pump will need to be removed and replaced in sections based on its location.
