The City of Marceline is requesting sealed proposals for contract services for the Water/Sewer Department. The services include supplying all labor and equipment for "as needed" Water Main Repairs, Valve Replacements, Hydrant Replacements, Customer Service Line installations, and Sewer repairs. Contractors must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and be able to respond within two hours of notification. The City will provide a City employee on the job site and handle all Dig-Rite requests. Replacement materials will be provided by the City. Proposals should be submitted on a per call and/or per hour rate basis. The contract duration is 1 year. Although this is not an exclusive contract, only one contract is expected to be awarded. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to request additional information from any or all bidders. M/WBE businesses are encouraged to apply.
