Provide daily mechanical services for the McKay Bay Waste to Energy (WTE) Facility . Contractor will provide one supervisor, one pipe welder, and one pipe fitter daily Monday through Friday to perform specialty tasks. The number of welders and fitters may be increased during outages. Historically, based on annual tonnage of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) received at the City of Tampa McKay Bay (WTE) Facility, the Facility conducts eight (8) scheduled maintenance-related outages per calendar year, of which one will be a Cold Iron outage. A routine scheduled outage is normally a period of 7 days where the boiler is taken off-line Saturday morning for operational cleaning to get the boiler ready for the contractors starting on Monday morning at 7 am. Question Deadline 02/10/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Questions will be submitted online. The City of Tampa Representative reserves the right to perform any of the tests and inspection requirements where said tests and inspections are needed to further determine compliance with this specification.
