Bid 26-c-00027 - Stormwater Pond Dredging and Restoration Stormwater ponds are designed to manage runoff, settle sediment, and control discharge over long periods. Over time, sediment accumulates, reducing the pond's storage capacity and increasing the risk of flooding during heavy rainfall events. Dredging restores the pond's original depth and volume, ensuring it can handle stormwater as intended and protect downstream properties and infrastructure from flood damage Question Deadline 06/16/2026 Every request for such interpretation must be in writing, addressed to the City of Tampa, Contract Administration Department, 306 E. Jackson St., 4th Floor, Tampa, Florida 33602 and then emailed to ContractAdministration@tampagov.net. To be given consideration, such request must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the Proposals The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the following: - Dredging of the existing stormwater pond to restore its design capacity. - Removal and disposal of sediments, debris, and invasive vegetation. - Restoration of the pond's banks and surrounding areas post-dredging. - Erosion control measures to be implemented.
