The scope of work includes furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services necessary to perform rehabilitation of up to ten (10) Upper Floridan Aquifer production wells (TP-1, TP-2, PW-3, PW-4, PW-5, PW-6, PW-7, PW-8, PW-10, and PW-11) for the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department Water Treatment Plant No. 11, located in Belle Glade, Florida. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, mobilization; removal and reinstallation of existing wellhead; removal and reinstallation of column pipe, pump, motor, and appurtenances; well video inspections; geophysical logging; performance testing; acid treatment; reporting; post rehabilitation testing; well disinfection and clearance; formation water disposal system (including temporary piping and pumps); electrical work; site restoration; and work required to return the well to service. All conditions and requirements for bid submission, consideration, and award are provided. Vendors must be registered in the county’s Vendor Self Service system to do business, and if using subcontractors, they must also ensure that all subcontractors are registered. Bid proposals must be submitted on county-provided forms with a bid bond security of not less than five percent of the bid price. A public construction bond (100%) will be required of the successful bidder within fourteen calendar days of notification. Bidders and all identified subcontractors must possess all professional licenses or certifications required by the State of Florida and/or Palm Beach County, as applicable, for performing the specified work. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any bid irregularities, informalities, or technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids.
