Site work for a water / sewer project in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves removal of the existing storm system; installing new storm pipes and inlets; connection of existing building downspouts into the new storm pipes; and some roadway pavement removal, subbase regrading and replacement. Bids must be sealed and marked for the project, submitted on the forms provided, and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond from an approved Surety Company, in an amount not less than ten percent of the proposal. Bidders must fulfill all requirements in the bid documents for their bid to be considered complete. Addenda will be issued only to those on record with the design engineer as having obtained the contract documents. The borough reserves the right to award in part, reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and to waive technical defects, irregularities, or omissions if deemed in the best interest of the borough. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting for the project, however, bidders are invited to visit the project site. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be directed to the engineer Last day to ask any questions will be the end of business on Thursday, January 29, 2026 Bids will be awarded at the Tyrone Borough Council meeting on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Tyrone Borough Office, 1100 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686.
