Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Southaven, Mississippi. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of February 27, 2026, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** Bids are requested for the removal and replacement of the existing fencing along the project limits. The work includes the demolition and disposal of the existing fence, installation of a new fence system of the specified style, including posts, rails, gates, wire mesh backing, and all associated hardware. The project will also include necessary clearing and grading along the fence line, concrete footings, alignment and tensioning, and restoration of disturbed areas. The total Contract Time will be 180 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $500.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The City of Southaven reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any information and irregularities therein, solicit new bids, award the bid to the lowest and best bidder. Estimate is around $200k for base bid, $100k for add alt no.1, $200k for add alt no. 2, and $25k for add alt. no. 3.
