The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for upgrades to various HVAC equipment and systems at the District's Easterly WWTP, Southerly WWTC, Westerly WWTC, Easterly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station, and EMSC facility. The project involves replacing or upgrading approximately 122 pieces of equipment and/or systems, with the number of improvements summarized by facility as follows: Southerly WWTC: 65, Westerly WWTC: 27, Easterly WWTP: 23, EMSC: 6, Easterly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station: 1. Bidders shall review all contract documents prior to submitting a bid. Prospective bidders must register for an OpenGov account to access documents and are strongly encouraged to monitor the OpenGov website for updates and addenda. The NEORSD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and waive informalities or irregularities. The Contract is subject to NEORSD policies and goals for small business enterprise (SBE) participation, with an SBE goal of 20%. The estimated probable construction cost is $11,400,000. NEORSD will not award a contract for any bid exceeding 20% above the estimated cost. All questions and requests for information must be submitted electronically via OpenGov. Any substantive answers will be distributed as addenda to the bid documents. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles; furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications; and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work shall be complete and operational, and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be provided by the Contractor as though originally so indicated, at no increased cost to the Owner. ETDPS 1) Replace existing heating hot water coil in existing AHU-2. C. Contract Documents - Owner shall provide electronic copies of Contract documents and Conformed -to-Contract drawings (native and pdf) and specifications. Printed copies will not be provided by the Owner. D. Work by Others: The Contractor shall coordinate performance of the Work with other Contracts the Owner may execute for work at this site, as required by this and other specifications and the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions Article 11. Keep all drives, access ways, entrances and common areas not specifically identified on the drawings as being occupied by this CONTRACT, free for use by Owner and other Contractors. In the case of disputes regarding the use of the site by this CONTRACT and other Contractors, the Owner will decide which Contract has precedence.
