A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Reference Number 0000409733 Farr Neighborhood Project is to transfer water service from existing backyard water mains and meter pits to water mains and meter pits inside city rights-of-way (i.e., within city streets) so that the City can access and maintain the water utility as a whole. Installation of new waterlines and new meter pits within City streets will be constructed by City crews. This contract is for installation of new water service lines to connect the new meter pits/meters in residents front yards to existing service lines in residents private property. Work under this Contract will require the construction of new water services to each property as outlined on each resident's approved Work Plan. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. All interested Contractors are highly encouraged to visit the project site and become familiar with all issues related to construction. In particular, some sections of the site may also be under construction related to construction of new mainlines and water services to the meter pits. The successful responsive and responsible bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond in the amount of the contract sum. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening. Contractor selection will be based on a combination of the low responsive bidder and proposed construction schedule that minimizes impacts to residents with the goal to complete work in Summer 2026. The City of Greeley will award the bid schedules as determined to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Greeley retains the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality as deemed in the best interest of the city.
