Renovation of a museum in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
**As of February 18, 2026, the project was awarded to Historic Building Institute LLC, with an awarded amount of $41,500** The scope of work includes restoration of the historic cabin located at 8031 Floral Avenue. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly marked Skokie Park District, SHM Historic Cabin Restoration and delivered to the Park Services at 7523 Long Avenue, Skokie, IL 60077. The Work of this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made for the Park District by IDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawing in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic.
