The project consists of a water service connection to the City of Santa Maria water system, installation of a water main, a backflow preventer, destruction of the existing well, and other related work as outlined in the Contract Documents. The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, tax, equipment, and services necessary for the construction and completion of the Saint Marie Mobile Home Park - City of Santa Maria Water Service Connection Project. Bidders must hold a valid Class A General Engineering Contractor license and a Class C-57 license (the latter may be held by a subcontractor), both issued by the State of California. The total contract time for final completion is 180 calendar days. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and compliance with applicable labor requirements is mandatory.
