The principal items for which proposals are invited are: Pulverize Asphalt Pavement, Shoulder Restoration, Storm Sewer Culvert installation (12", 15", 18", and 24"), installation of Wing Walls for a 72" Box Culvert, Undercut and Base Course Material, Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement (2-inch Surface and 3-inch Binder), Hot Mix Asphalt Driveway Patching, Epoxy Pavement Marking (4-inch), and Topsoil, Seeding, and Stabilization. All proposals shall be submitted on bidding forms included in the Project Manual furnished by Kunkel Engineering Group, LLC, and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manual. Bidders must purchase Bid Documents from the Engineer or QuestCDN to submit a bid. Reproduction of Bid Documents will not be accepted from Bidders. Bidding documents and specifications are also available for pickup from Kunkel Engineering Group, LLC, upon payment. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Town of Farmington in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and the Insurance Certificate(s), as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award of the Contract. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time for opening bids.
