The proposed construction consists of installation of approximately 540 LF of 10-inch water main, 155 LF of 8-inch water main and 2159 LF of 10-inch sanitary sewer main, 431 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer main, 1602 LF of 6-inch force main, along with corresponding water services and sanitary sewer laterals, a new lift station, generator installation for an existing lift station, new roadway, full reconstruction of roadways, mill and overlay of existing roadways, repair and restoration of existing sidewalk and curb and gutter, new sidewalk in developed areas, improvement of existing curb ramps, and other miscellaneous items of work. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. This Bid will remain open for 45 days after the date of Bid opening or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner. The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
