Site work for a water / sewer project in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the installation of a new meter vault station, open cut 8-inch water main, abandonment of existing meter vault station, installation of system appurtenances, and site restoration. Approximate project quantities include 100 linear feet of 8-inch Class 55 ductile iron water main, 2 8-inch valves, 1 meter vault station and appurtenances, 32 tons of asphaltic concrete paving, 150 linear feet of pavement saw cutting, and lump sum items for traffic control and erosion control, together with restoration and other related work. Bids not prepared and filed in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders may be rejected. All bidders who do not have a completed Pre-Qualification Statement with the Village of Shorewood must submit one by close of business on the specified date to be considered for contract award. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the Village of Shorewood in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total bid. The successful bidder must execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within 10 days after award, or the bid bond/check will be forfeited as liquidated damages.
