Site work and paving for a civil project in Port Edwards, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of February 16, 2026. Project was awarded to American Asphalt but awarded amount is not available. Verbunker Avenue beginning 211' west of the intersection of Verbunker Avenue and Port Road continuing west to the Town of Seneca limits (Approximately 792 feet) is a LRIP - Town Road Improvement Project. Replace an existing metal 18" culvert with 42' of 18" HDPE dual wall culvert, adding 2" of gravel (140 TONS) Pulverizing full asphalt depth, approximately 4" (1,760 SY), grade, shape so base is crowned to a 2 percent from center line, compact, pave 225 tons of type 4MT 58-28S, 2 inches thick placed in 1-2" lift 10 feet wide per lane, place 30 tons of compacted 3/4 " crushed aggregate for shoulder 2 foot wide by 4 inches deep with a shoulder machine and compacted with a smooth drum or pneumatic roller All work and materials are to be in accordance with Wisconsin Department of Transportation standard specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2026 Edition. The Town of Seneca reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the town.
