Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in De Pere, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project 26-05 involves sidewalk and curb repairs, including approximately 2,100 square yards of concrete and colored concrete sidewalk, driveway, and ramp removal and replacement (ranging from 4-inch to 8-inch thickness), as well as 600 square yards of new concrete sidewalk installation (4-inch and 6-inch). Bidders are required to submit their proposals online via QuestCDN.com and must download the project documents from QuestCDN to be added to the Planholder List and access online bidding. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of De Pere, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond according to the City's General Conditions. Each bidder must also pre-qualify by submitting proof of responsibility on specified forms to the Director of Public Works. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, and accept the proposal deemed most favorable to the City's interest. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
