Description

Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Irvine, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work shall include the installation of an underground main water feed for the fire suppression system (sprinkler), fire pumps, back-flow devices and all required piping, equipment, and apparatuses for a fully functional sprinkler system. The selected contractor is to re-purpose the existing dry standby pipe as a main wet sprinkler riser for the building and to install a sprinkler system on all floors, providing a fully sprinklered building. Design for sprinkler layout will be a deferred submittal. Work will also include abatement on some floors. Estimated Contract Time: 300 Days from General Engineering A License Contractors or General Building B License Contractors wishing Procedures: Prequalification questionnaires will be available electronically at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 UCI reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this notice, to waive non-material irregularities, and to deem Contractors prequalified for the project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
