Site work for a civil project in London, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the East Side Trunk Sewer and Spring Valley Pump Station and Forcemain Project by the Mid-Ohio Water & Sewer District. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, unit price work for the installation of gravity sanitary sewer lines of various sizes, force main installation, sanitary manholes, and lump sum work for the construction of the Spring Valley Pump Station. This encompasses the pump station structure, process piping, valves, gates, pigging launching station, site grading, drive, fence, drainage piping, generator and pad, electrical building and associated work, instrumentation and controls, and all related installations. Initial installation also requires two 85 hp pumps under a separate unit price pay item. The project further includes modifications to the Sharp Avenue Lift Station, such as connecting to an existing force main, furnishing and installing check valves, a pigging recovery station, a stub for future connection, and isolation valves. Amherst Pump Station is to be decommissioned per contract documents. The unit price and lump sum work together with all necessary and associated work detailed in the plans and documents constitute the whole project. Instructions to bidders include requirements for a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in compliance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, submission of experiences on projects of comparable size and complexity, use of Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as practicable, and compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements per Ohio Administrative Code and Governor's Executive Orders. Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates and Requirements apply. The District reserves the right to reject bids, modify quantities, or waive irregularities. Each proposal must include the full name of every interested party. QA date - 2-2-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding and Contract Documents are to be directed to the ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the ENGINEER/ARCHITECT as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
