Bids shall be submitted electronically through the specified webservice for the MAD-VAR CR GR-FY26 - Guardrail Replacement Project. The bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond for one hundred percent of the bid or a certified check for ten percent of the bid. A Performance Bond for one hundred percent of the total project cost is also required. All work associated with the project must be completed before the required deadline. Bidders must be pre-qualified as a Contractor for the required categories of work by the Ohio Department of Transportation. There is a 5% Small Business Enterprise participation goal on this contract. No bids can be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after opening. Awarding of the contract will be to the Lowest and Best bidder as determined by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
