Site work and paving for a road / highway in Midland Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for the "Resurfacing of Park Avenue, Section 1 & 2" project. The plans, specifications, and other contract documents are available for public inspection. The work must begin after April 1, 2026, and must be completed within 45 consecutive working days from that date. The successful bidder shall comply with New Jersey prevailing local wage rates, provide a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten percent of the bid amount, and furnish both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each in the full contract amount, upon contract execution. Additional requirements include providing Certificates of Insurance as detailed in the contract documents, submission of an AIA form G703 with sufficient detail, compliance with NJSA 10:5-31 et seq., NJAC 17:27 (Affirmative Action Regulations), and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act with proof of registration prior to bid opening. The Mayor and Council may waive informalities or reject all bids.
