The work will be accomplished through multiple contracts with Floodwood Schools, with InGensa acting as Construction Managers. The following categories of work will be bid (subject to change): General Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Suppression. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security. If awarded a contract, each successful Bidder shall be required to furnish both Performance and Pay ment Bonds covering faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising under such contract. Such bonds shall be the latest edition of the AIA Document A312/CM, in the amount equal to 100% payment. If the contract is less than $75,000 an irrevocable Letter of Credit from a financial institution will be acceptable under the same terms and conditions of Performance & Payment Bonds. Floodwood Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES REPLACING MECHANICAL SYSTEMS FROM A 1995 RENOVATION. THIS WILL INCLUDE REPLACING AIR HANDLING UNITS, DUCTWORK, WATER LINES, AND FINNED TUBE RADIATORS. PROJECT ALSO INCLUDES THE CONVERSION OF CITY SUPPLIED STEAM SYSTEMS TO HOT WATER COILS AND REPLACING THE NATURAL GAS BOILER SYSTEM TO EFFICIENT HOT WATER CONDENSING BOILERS. SELECTIVE AREAS OF ACT AND DRYWALL CEILINGS WILL BE REPLACED AS A RESULT OF THE LISTED MECHANICAL WORK. NEWLY CREATED OR MODIFIED EXISTING PENETRATIONS THROUGH EXISTING RATED WALLS AS A RESULT OF THE MECHANICAL WORK WILL BE SEALED ACCORDINGLY.
