Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Parkston, South Dakota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Parkston invites the submittal of statements of qualification and interest for design services for Phase 1 of the Parkston Flood Reduction Project, which is being funded in part by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Phase 1 deliverables will include, but not be limited to, the following: A Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) analysis that will support how the flood reduction project will reduce flooding to the 136 properties in Parkston at risk of flooding during the 100-year flood event. A detailed project schedule for Phase 2 that outlines all scope items and their associated timelines, including an updated scope of work and cost estimate.Final detailed design plans that can be used to confirm the construction cost estimate. An environmental assessment that must include a Class III cultural resources inventory of the Area of Potential Effect, a biological assessment for federally listed species that might be impacted by the proposed project, and a wetlands delineation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Request for Proposal for Design Services is Underway
