The work consists of architectural/interiors, civil/landscape, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm work as indicated on the Bidding Documents for Sheridan Public Library Building Addition, Renovations & Site Improvements. Work includes paving, sidewalk and storm drainage improvements, new plantings and landscaping, dumpster enclosure, new curbside book drop, parking lot lighting, pergola shade structure, monument sign, a 600SF one story wood framed masonry veneer Storage Room addition, shingle roof replacement, Women's and Men's Restroom renovations, HC accessible door modifications, kitchenette renovation, interior floor, wall, and ceiling finish renovations, HVAC and lighting replacements, and miscellaneous other renovations. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid and may be in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance & Payment Bonds for 100% of the Contract Sum prior to execution of Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The contract awarded will be conditioned upon and subject to the completion of financing by the Owner in an amount sufficient to cover the cost of construction plus all incidental expenses, and may be subject to termination without penalty or liability at the Owner's option if financing cannot be completed. Bidders must be familiar with the requirements of Indiana Code 36-1-12-6 and agree to grant the Owner 30 days to award a contract.
