Addition and renovation of Kennedy Elementary, including ADA restroom improvements, wall tile, flooring, ceiling, millwork, library room storefront enclosure, ADA stage access, ADA ramp improvements, admin improvements, exterior finish improvements, fixtures, and steam classroom. Bid packages include: demolition, building and site concrete, masonry, structural steel fabrication and erection, rough carpentry and general trades, architectural wood casework and countertops, fluid applied air barriers and joint sealants, roofing, downspouts and metal flashings, EIFS, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, aluminum storefronts and glazing, door hardware, cold formed framing, drywall and acoustical ceilings, flooring and tiling, painting, division 10 specialties, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire alarm, earthwork, landscape, asphalt paving, fencing, and site utilities. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with existing conditions. Pre-bid RFIs are due as indicated. Sealed bids must be addressed and delivered to the specified location. Bidders should be prepared to submit a Subcontractor’s Qualification Statement. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid amount over $50,000 (material vendors not required). Submit offers on the official Bid Form provided. The bid must be irrevocable for 60 days after submission. The owner and construction manager reserve the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any or all bids. Bidders may view the bid documents at the construction manager’s office.
