Request for Proposals (RFP) for Professional Services Iberville Parish Government Public Notice is hereby submitted by the Iberville Parish Government seeking assistance from professional firms/businesses to provide professional services for project Construction/implementation of removal of storm-related debris from Bayou Grosse Tete located within Iberville Parish. The Iberville Parish Government has received funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWP) and/or other sources for Project Construction/Implementation in accordance with Project Plans and Specifications and Quality Assurance Plan, the US ACOE Section 404 Permit, and the Parishs Landowners Agreements. The Iberville Parish Government is requesting proposals from qualified firms/businesses to provide professional services and assist the Parish with Construction/Implementation for the removal of storm-related debris, fallen trees, snags, drifts or other obstructions from the channel of Bayou Grosse Tete, including hauling and trucking services to approved Parish Debris Site(s) as directed by Iberville Parish Government and/or its designated Technical Assistance contractor. The proposing bidder shall be able to provide sufficient Manpower, Specialized Waterborne and Associated Equipment needed to remove debris from the waterway, Debris Offloading at designated sites, and Trucking necessary to transport the debris to the Parishs approved Debris Disposal Site(s) during course of the project to completion. All proposals received will be evaluated based on the established selection criteria and corresponding point system. Iberville Parish Government will initiate contract negotiations with the Respondent receiving the highest overall evaluation score. If the negotiations with the highest-ranked Respondent are unsuccessful, Iberville Parish Government reserves the right to terminate the negotiations and proceed with contract negotiations with the Respondent receiving the next highest score in the evaluation process.
