Renovation of a recreation facility in Wood Dale, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
Sealed bids are being accepted for the Recreation Center Roof Replacement project. The project includes work as described in Bid Group #2, with Bid Packages 2-3 covering Waterproofing and Mechanical Systems. All contracts for this public works construction are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must comply with all provisions of United States and State of Illinois laws regarding public works projects, including the Illinois Human Rights Act and related regulations. The Wood Dale Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, technicalities, and irregularities in the bidding process. Bids shall not be withdrawn after opening without consent for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening time. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualification of all bidders is required prior to the bid due date. Bidders must submit one fully executed copy of AIA Document A305 “Contractor’s Qualification Statement” prior to submitting the bid form. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check (equal to not less than 10% of the Base Bid) must be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to obtain Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the bid amount.
