Renovation of a recreation facility in Wood Dale, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade recreation facility.
Sealed bids are being accepted for the Recreation Center Roof Replacement project. The project includes Bid Group #1, Bid Package #1 - Roofing. Pre-qualification of all bidders in this bid group is required before the bid due date. Bidders must submit a fully executed copy of AIA Document A305 "Contractor's Qualification Statement" prior to submitting the bid form. The successful bidder must procure and pay for a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Wood Dale Park District in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid is required with the bid. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Wood Dale Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, technicalities, and irregularities in the bidding. Bidders must comply with all United States and State of Illinois laws concerning Public Works projects, including, but not limited to, the Illinois Human Rights Act and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission. Specifications can be viewed or downloaded electronically via Building Connected by emailing a request after the stated date and time.
