The scope of work includes the procurement and installation of a replacement transformer enclosure for the 750KVA shore power transformer serving the US Coast Guard Cutter Aspen. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove the existing enclosure and install the new enclosure in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Work must comply with all applicable construction standards, including Construction Wage Rate Requirements, and certified payrolls will be required. The contractor must demonstrate knowledge and experience with transformer installations of similar size and type and hold a valid Alaska General Contractor or Electrical Contractor License. Performance shall be completed within the designated performance period specified in the SOW, and all work must meet safety and quality standards outlined by the government. Procure and deliver a new, painted stainless steel transformer enclosure designed for outdoor use and compatible with the existing 750 KVA transformer. b. Remove and properly dispose of the existing transformer enclosure in accordance with all applicable regulations. c. Clean the interior of the transformer, removing any accumulated debris (e.g., dirt, dust). d. Replace any corroded lugs at the primary and secondary connection points of the transformer. e. Install the new transformer enclosure, ensuring secure attachment to the existing base. f. Install new, legible labels and placards on the enclosure, as required.
