The City of Homer, Alaska is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to design repairs at the Homer Municipal Airport of water damage caused by a water main break. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities in the proposals, and to award a contract to the respondent that best meets the selection criteria. All proposers must submit a City of Homer Plan Holders Registration Form separate from their proposal to be on the Plan Holder’s List and receive communication about this Request for Proposals (RFP). The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and other facilities necessary to prepare planning/design documents and bid documents. We envision the project to be comprised of two stages: design and construction. The design stage would consist of preparing 65%, 95% and 100% bid documents, including obtaining all environmental and regulatory permits and incorporation of funding conditions. The construction phase would consist of providing bidding assistance, construction contract management, inspection services and project close-out services.
