The standing offer is to supply and deliver field maintenance (painting) for two all-weather sport field facilities owned by the Municipality. The service period is from April to October each year, with a three-year term and an option for two additional one-year renewals. Bidders must provide details on the process and equipment planned for field maintenance functions. Locations are Halifax Mainland Common and Weir Field. Painting/field marking requirements are specified by location, field, and color for May, with further requests for other sports to be negotiated as needed. Paint used must not damage turf and must be approved by the Facility Operations Coordinator. Equipment must also be approved and not damage the turf. The contract does not guarantee quantities or values to be purchased. Bidders must submit social value responses, references, and other requested information. Only electronic bids are accepted, and all communication is via the Bids&Tenders system. All applicable workplace policies and insurance requirements must be followed. The Supplier Code of Conduct applies, but not the living wage requirement for this contract. Prices must be firm and in Canadian funds, DDP destination, for the contract duration. Bids are to remain valid for 60 days. The contract will be awarded to the bid representing best value, at HRM's sole discretion, not necessarily the lowest price.
