Site work for a mixed-use development in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and bridge / tunnel.
The project generally includes approximately 1,050 total feet of greenway construction connecting existing Ting Park trail with Muses Mill Court in Oak Hall neighborhood. The greenway consists of new 10-foot wide asphalt multi-use path with 2-foot stone shoulders, one fiberglass pedestrian bridge across Little Branch Creek, and all associated clearing, drainage, erosion control, traffic control, signage, and other incidental items. Plan holders are required to sign up for project notifications and addenda at the specified Town website. Bidding, contract award, and bonding requirements must conform to North Carolina Statutes for public facilities construction. Minority firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder unless all bids are rejected. The Town of Holly Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors must be licensed to do the specified type of contracting in North Carolina, and use of any sub-contractor must be approved by the Engineer. Any bidder currently in litigation with the Town will be disqualified from bidding.
