Demolition for an educational facility in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.
The Town of Algoma will sell to the highest and best bidder, via sealed bid, all materials and components (brick, metal, etc.) and contents of the old high school gymnasium building located at 1290 Algoma Road, Pontotoc, MS. The successful bidding purchaser is required to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and related costs for the deconstruction of the old high school gymnasium building, salvage of materials, components, and contents of the building, and removal from the premises of all remnants of the building, contents, and debris. The project must be completed before August 31, 2026. Any damage to the town property and grounds resulting from the project must be repaired prior to the project completion deadline. Sealed bids should be presented to the Town Clerk of Algoma. Bids are to be emailed to the Town Clerk or placed in the Town dropbox in front of the Town Hall. Bids are due on or before 6:00 p.m. on March 3, 2026. A pre-bid walk through at the site will be available upon request.
