A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of intersection improvements at Oak Road and Mountain View Road for the Department of Transportation. The contract includes 0.213 miles of clearing and grubbing, grading, sidewalk, curb and gutter, roadway widening, asphalt paving, retaining wall construction, waterline installation, construction of a roundabout, and striping. The quantities involved are less than 2,500 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,424 linear feet of curb and gutter, 1,632 square yards of concrete flat work, 980 linear feet of storm drain pipe, 1,583 tons of asphalt, and 146 linear feet of retaining wall (Type P). Bidders must return typed or inked bids in a sealed container with the appropriate marking. Plans and documents are available for purchase for a non-refundable fee from Atlas Technical Consultants, LLC. Bids must be submitted in duplicate and include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for 5% of the total bid. Successful bidders must meet insurance requirements and provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The insurance and bonding company must meet specified licensing and rating requirements. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible vendor at its discretion.
