Renovation of a municipal facility in Sandisfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
When submitting quotes, it is understood that the Town of Sandisfield reserves the right to reject any, and all quotes, or parts of any quote. The Town of Sandisfield is exempt from all taxes, and they shall not be included in the quote. Proposals must include the completed price for all supplies, services, documentation, installation, and other deliverables. The proposal must also include all costs including any estimated travel time, installation of the drop ceiling, transportation, accommodations, and incidentals. No additional costs will be accepted once the contract has been signed and submitted. All work completed shall comply with applicable federal, state, county, and or city/town regulations, laws, and codes. All required permits shall be obtained prior to the removal and replacement of the current drop ceiling. Substitution of items will not be permitted unless specifically approved by the Town in writing. All work is to be completed by licensed, certified, and skilled tradespeople. Prior to submitting a bid, each bidder shall examine the worksite carefully, read the specifications and bidding documents, and fully inform themselves prior to bidding of any limitations under which the work is to be completed. One contract will be awarded for the completion of this project, and the vendor will be required to complete the Town of Sandisfield Contract Agreement prior to any services being rendered. The Town of Sandisfield is an Equal Opportunity Employer The Contractor will provide proof of liability insurance, a Certificate of Vote for Corporations, and proof of Workman's Compensation Insurance. The Contractor will be paid prevailing wage for work completed Work Schedule The Contractor shall coordinate with the Select Board Chair and Town Manager, or their designee, a proposed work schedule prior to the start of the project. The Contractor may start the project upon approval of the work schedule and completion of the contract. One contract will be awarded to the responsive vendor offering the requested services at the lowest price. Replace drop ceiling at Old Town Hall located at 3 Silverbrook Rd Sandisfield, MA 01255 1. Remove the old drop ceiling and any materials from the Old Town Hall Ceiling. 2. Install the new drop ceiling 3. Material figured with 2'x4' USG #2310 tile and 15/16" grid 4. The Contractor will cut in the necessary heat registers 5. The Contractor will demolish the existing 2'x4' ceiling system and dispose of appropriately per Mass General Law guidelines. Exclusions 1. The Town of Sandisfield will provide a dumpster for removal of materials and trash 2. The Contractor will not be responsible for any electrical wiring that needs to be removed and re-installed. Warranty 1. All installation shall carry a minimum 1-year warranty at no additional cost to the Town.
