Demolition for a road / highway in Washington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway.
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW) requests bids for the Washington Demolition Project, LS 21-13 & LS 22-17. Bidders must obtain documents from the Issuing Office to be eligible. Electronic versions are available for a non-refundable fee of $53.00, and printed versions for $106.00 plus a $10.00 mailing fee; both include Pennsylvania Sales Tax. Printed documents are only available by mail. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site. Each bid must include a guaranty of not less than ten percent of the total bid, in a form permitted under the contract documents. Minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid. The contractor must ensure no discrimination in employment. RACW reserves the right to reject any bids or waive informality. Bids may be held for up to forty-five days for review and qualification checks before awarding the contract. Contractors must be able to initiate work within fifteen days of contract execution and complete work within ninety days of the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request forsuch an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration.
