Centralia City Light requests that any person, firm, or corporation desiring to bid upon any electrical construction or improvement work answer questions in a standard form of questionnaire and financial statement, including a complete statement of financial ability and experience. Centralia City Light maintains a prequalified contractor list for distribution, transmission, substation, and secondary work. Electrical contractors or subcontractors interested in bidding on utility type work must be prequalified at the time the bid solicitation is advertised. Prequalified contractors are required to annually update their prequalification questionnaire. Prequalification may be established at any time within the calendar year. Only prequalified contractors will be identified for bidding on electrical work for the project. There is no fee to prequalify. Pre-qualification requirements: Any person, firm, or corporation desiring to bid must answer questions in a standard form of questionnaire and financial statement, including a complete statement of financial ability and experience. Prequalified contractors must annually update their prequalification questionnaire. Prequalification status must be confirmed before bid submittal forms are provided.
