This project consists of two scopes 1. General Flooring Replacement 2. Asbestos Flooring Removal (Licensed Abatement Contractor Only) 3. SCOPE OF WORK - FLOORING REPLACEMENT 3.1 Office Areas: All designated office areas shall receive new carpet flooring. 3.2 Hallways and Classrooms: These areas may receive vinyl or rubber flooring. 3.3 Rubber Base Installation: Rubber wall base shall be installed in all flooring areas. 4. SCOPE OF WORK - ASBESTOS FLOORING REMOVAL 4.1 Mechanical Removal Requirements: Mechanical removal of asbestos-containing floor tile, mastic, and materials. 4.2 Proper Handling Procedures: Must follow OSHA, EPA, and state asbestos requirements. 4.3 Licensing Requirements: Contractor must hold valid asbestos abatement licenses for all The project includes: Mechanical removal of existing flooring; Asbestos abatement in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations; Supply and installation of new flooring, which may include: Carpet, Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT), Rubber flooring, Cove base.
