Qualified and responsible contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the Town of North Haven construction project known as the Urban Act Grant - Bailey Road and DeMayo Athletic Complexes, North Haven, Connecticut, Project No. 26-15. After bids are received, the Town's Director of Administration and Procurement will analyze whether vendors have submitted responsive bids, meet the requirements called for in the Invitation to Bid, and determine the lowest responsible and qualified bidder. In reviewing bids, consideration may be given to past performance, financial responsibility, quality of work, and service experience before awarding the bid. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive defects, or choose vendors other than strictly by price or the lowest bid if it is deemed in the Town's best interest. The contract will be funded wholly or in part by State of Connecticut Urban Act Grant funds. All bidders and contractors must be familiar with and comply with the requirements of the State of Connecticut's Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Set Aside Plan requirements, as well as all other requirements for municipal public works projects funded by the State of Connecticut.
