Grand Blanc Community Schools is soliciting firm prime contractor bids for the labor, materials, equipment, and all other services necessary to complete the High School Tennis Courts project at 11920 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI 48493. Bids must be submitted using the forms provided by the construction manager, fully completed, and include both a Familial Disclosure Statement and an Affidavit of Compliance to the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, both notarized. Each bid in excess of $31,321.00 must be accompanied by a bid bond from a U.S. Treasury listed surety or a cashier's check for at least 5% of the proposal sum, payable to Grand Blanc Community Schools. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more are required to provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the bid amount, with the cost included in the proposal. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities. Bids must remain firm for 60 days after submission. Proposals must be sealed, clearly marked with the bidder's name and addressed appropriately, and delivered by the stated deadline.
