Mechanical clamshell dredging of approximately 250,000 cubic yards of sediment within the federally authorized navigation channel of the Snohomish River, including the lower channel and lower settling basin, during the approved in-water work window from 16 October 2026 through 14 February 2027. Dredged material will be transported by bottom-dump barge and placed at the Port Gardner disposal site from mid-October through mid-February, and at the RA5-A site from December through mid-February to support the Puget Sound Restoration Cap Project. All disposal operations shall comply with applicable specifications and environmental guidelines. Work includes performing turbidity monitoring during dredging and disposal activities and adhering to all in-water work timing restrictions. Location: Snohomish River Navigation Channel (Lower Channel and Lower Settling Basin), Everett, WA The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
