Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List (OCSL) for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at CFB Esquimalt and its satellite sites in British Columbia. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services with an estimated value of $10 million and below. Contractors and suppliers may request to be placed on the OCSL at any time and must submit a request through this MERX posting, indicating their preferred official language (English or French). Submissions by fax, mail, or email will not be accepted. The OCSL will be used to invite registered contractors and suppliers to bid electronically through MERX for upcoming construction opportunities. To bid, a contractor or supplier must be registered on the OCSL, and legal names must match those listed. DCC may require site meetings prior to tender closings and may implement additional pre-qualification requirements for specific tenders. Contractors may be removed from the OCSL if they receive an unacceptable performance score or are declared ineligible by Public Services and Procurement Canada. Contracts may also contain security requirements, and DCC reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet stated requirements.
