Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence at ASU Chilliwack, including the lower mainland and interior British Columbia. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services valued at $10 million and below. As opportunities arise, all contractors and suppliers on the OCSL will be invited to bid on the work electronically through MERX, and may be required to attend a site meeting before a tender closing. Bidders must have an active MERX account to submit bids and must be registered on the OCSL to bid. DCC may require additional pre-qualification for specific tenders done through the OCSL and may elect to post any tender openly on MERX if appropriate. Contracts may include Indigenous participation requirements and may be subject to specific organization and personnel security requirements. Contracts awarded by DCC include measurable performance standards, and all contracts are subject to DCC’s Procurement Code of Conduct. DCC reserves the right to reject any application not meeting the stated requirements and to request clarifications regarding submissions. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors and suppliers must submit a request through MERX, indicate their preferred official language, possess an active MERX account, and meet any security, performance, and eligibility requirements specified by DCC and referenced in the Procurement Code of Conduct.
