Site work for a civil project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Construction of flood discharge structures associated with the Chocolate Lake Dam. TIMELINE: RFP for engineering services has been awarded. Design and permitting is expected to be completed by early spring 2027; followed by tender and construction. Further update may be available mid-/late 2026. *Cost to be determined. Meco Engineering was engaged in 2024 to complete the design of the replacement of the Chocolate Lake Dam with a new embankment dam and concrete spillway. Planning and design work for this project is expected to be carried out in conjunction with the dam replacement as well as the Herring Cove Road Multi-Modal Corridor.
