Question must be submitted in writing to Geneva Walker via e-mail (Geneva.Walker@mbakerintl.com) by Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 5:00PM. The project involves the rehabilitation and extension of Taxiway F at Jacksonville International Airport. Taxiway F, currently 75 feet wide, will be reduced to 50 feet as part of the rehabilitation. The extension will maintain the same width and extend into an undeveloped, wooded area. The project also includes the rehabilitation of the Runway 14-32 blast pad, which involves milling and overlaying the existing asphalt blast pads, demolition of abandoned light base cans, re-working and re-grading the limerock subbase, and minor re-grading and re-sodding in turf areas surrounding the blast pads. Bid security of five percent (5%) of the base bid is required. Contract Bonding is also required. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. Participation in the Small Business Enterprises Program (SBE) is required with a goal of 10 percent (10%) to be performed by certified SBE firms. The project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual for Contract No. C-883, and complete sets of drawings and specifications may be acquired from Michael Baker International after a specified date.
